The Chamber was created by Jan Osiecki and Dominik Świderski at the end of 1966 and at the beginning of 1967 during the celebration of 550th anniversary of Grabów nad Prosną. It is dedicated to two outstanding people born in Grabów: Dr. Władysław Biegański – physician, logician, philosopher – one of the first methodologists of medical knowledge, and Professor Teofil Ciesielski, botany professor in Lwów, an outstanding specialist in apiary. The chamber is located in an 18-century building of the previous Franciscan monastery.
Its two rooms show biographical exhibits, photographs, articles and books of the scientists born in the town: Władysław Biegański (1857-1917) and Teofil Ciesielski (1846-1916). A major part of the exhibition is made up by apiary-related artefacts, small farm tools, everyday objects and documents illustrating the town and area’s history.
